Devil's Advocates: A Comedy Debate Club

A live comedy debate show that's one part Highschool debate, one part gladiatorial bloodbath. Teams of stand-up comedians go head to head for the pleasure of a ruthless mob (that's you!) in a no-holds-barred verbal brawl where comics fight to the death (of their dignity) over topics that range from the absurd (which pokemon would you eat?) to the everyday (Is cereal a soup?). The only rule? Make em laugh. What is Truth? Overrated. The wronger they are, the funnier they get. This is the only debate where logical fallacies and personal attacks are not only allowed, but encouraged.

A little stand-up, a little riff, a little roast—and when the dust settles, the final judgment is in the hands of the mob. Boo, cheer, scream—it’s your civic duty to decide who wins and who gets fed to the lions.

REFUND POLICY:

Refunds can be requested up to 24 hours before the start of the show. If you purchase tickets and are a no-show on the night of the performance, you forfeit the right to a refund. Email contact@fallouttheater.com or contact Eventbrite through your purchase receipt.

AGE REQUIREMENTS:

We recommend audiences to be 18 or older due to mature content on stage; however, those under 18 are welcome with parental discretion.

PARKING:

Street parking is typically available within a 2 block radius of the theater. Try parking north of 7th Street on Lavaca, or west of Lavaca near Guadalupe & 8th (by the old library). We do not validate parking.

DRINK POLICY:

Our venue is BYOB. Must be 21+ years of age and present valid ID to consume alcoholic beverages on the premises. We reserve the right to deny service to anyone.
