Guess What? I Love You – Album & Book Release Tour With Mike Maimone

Celebrate with Mike Maimone, on tour for the release of his 15th album and 1st book, both called Guess What? I Love You.

This show features Mike performing songs from his new album on solo piano. Guiding the audience on an emotional journey, he will also read short selections from his book, which received a Kirkus recommendation, an endorsement from Don Lemon, and Los Angeles Magazine called it "a moving account of love, loss and the radical act of staying open to possibility.”

The companion pieces are a tribute to his late husband Howard Bragman, who championed the LGBTQ+ community by helping celebrities navigate their coming out journeys, and was a beloved Hollywood luminary appearing on everything from RuPaul's Drag Race to Good Morning America.

Maimone's piano-based music is often compared to Randy Newman, Leon Russell, Tom Waits, and Dr. John. With over 200 published songs, he has been heard on movie and TV soundtracks, Spotify and Apple Music editorial playlists, on the radio, and he has performed at major festivals and iconic venues across the country and internationally. He has toured with bands including Blues Traveler, Plain White T's and OK Go, and shared the stage with the legendary Stevie Wonder.

ABOUT THE PERFORMER
Mike Maimone is a singer-songwriter, pianist, producer, and author. After earning a business degree from the University of Notre Dame, he briefly worked as an accountant before leaving the corporate world to pursue music full-time. He has written and published more than two hundred songs, many heard on TV, in movies, and on the radio. In addition to being a prolific recording artist, Maimone has averaged around 100 tour dates per year since 2005. He has played festivals such as Lollapalooza, headlined legendary venues like the Metro and the Troubador, performed on keys with Stevie Wonder, and toured in support of OK Go, Plain White T's, Blues Traveler, and more. His fifteenth album serves as an audio companion piece to this, his first book. Guess What? I Love You the LP is available on CD, vinyl, and on all digital platforms.

ACCESSIBILITY

Parking: Metered street parking is available (parallel parking) on Market St. Paid lots are available within a few blocks. The closest one is on 21st and Market St.

Entrance Access: Our front door is at street level and manually operated, accessible for wheelchairs and mobility aids. The rest of the block has sidewalks raised by five steps; however, the bike lane offers a step-free route down the block with minimal car traffic.

Restrooms: All-gender restrooms. Just like at home.

Communication: All staff on site speak English. There will be one Spanish speaking staff member. We welcome communication via translation apps (Google Translate is available). While we do not use ASL, we’re happy to communicate through apps or other tools that work for you.

Alcohol Policy: No alcohol will be served or permitted at this event.
