ChemEng TOPICS 2026

The ChemEng Topics Workshop, scheduled for October 1–2, 2026, will take place at the University of Brescia

This interactive two-day event will bring together researchers and professionals to discuss recent innovations and future directions in chemical engineering for green hydrogen production and sustainable energy conversion. The programme features four focused sessions on advanced materials for water electrolysis, electrolyser design and scale-up, hydrogen and CO2 conversion pathways, and process modelling and system integration.

With contributions from leading experts across Europe and beyond, the workshop offers a platform for in-depth technical exchange on electrocatalysts, solid oxide electrolysis cells, CO2 hydrogenation to methanol, and the modelling tools needed to move these technologies from the laboratory to industrial scale.

Participants will have the opportunity to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and examine how emerging hydrogen and power-to-x technologies can contribute to decarbonisation and circular chemical processes.
