Bring your favorite paperback, grab a tray of sparkling gems, and transform an ordinary book cover into a glittering work of art!

Denver DIY Social: Bedazzle a Book Craft Party is a fun, beginner-friendly evening hosted by National Social & Creative Hub inside the whimsical, fairy-tale garden atmosphere of Wonderyard Garden + Table in downtown Denver.

Whether you want to decorate a trending romance novel, a fantasy favorite, a poetry collection, or a blank bullet journal, we supply thousands of crystals, faux pearls, metallic charms, and sparkly embellishments to turn your cover into a custom showpiece.

No crafting experience is needed. Come solo to meet fellow creative book lovers, bring your bestie, or make it a night out with your entire book club! What Your Ticket Includes:

• Complete Craft Materials: Multi-faceted glass crystals in various shapes and shades, iridescent pearls, celestial stars/moons, filigree stickers, and satin bookmarks.
• Professional Craft Tools: Precision wax pickup pens, sorting trays, industrial-strength adhesives, and protective clear topcoat sealants.
• Live Step-by-Step Demos: Practical tips on layout framing, typography highlighting, color gradients, and long-lasting gluing methods.

What to Bring & Book Guidelines:

Bring ONE Paperback Book: Bring a paperback book or notebook from home you’d love to personalize. Paperback surfaces (matte or glossy) work best for adhesive bonding.

Cover Note: Hardcover or fabric-bound covers are not recommended for this technique.

Food & Drinks (Available for Purchase):

Wonderyard Garden + Table provides full food and beverage service throughout the event. Order craft cocktails, mocktails, wine, shareable dips, flatbreads, and sliders directly to your table while crafting.

Event Schedule (Run of Show):

• 6:15 PM – 6:30 PM | Check-In & Drink Orders
• Find your workstation, grab a cocktail from the bar, and explore the gem color palettes.
• 6:30 PM – 6:45 PM | Intro & Layout Design Demos
• Brief demonstration on gem alignment, border styling, lettering outlines, and glue application.
• 6:45 PM – 8:40 PM | Open Crafting, Socializing & Bedazzling
• Create at your own pace with continuous instructor support, upbeat playlist vibes, and social chats.
• 8:40 PM – 9:00 PM | Sealant Application, Photos & Wrap-Up
• Apply clear protective sealant to set your crystals, take finished book photos, and connect.
