Kick off the new academic year with an evening of art, discovery, and connection at the Fowler Museum with the UCLA arts community.
Kick off the new academic year with an evening of art, discovery, and connection at the Fowler Museum. Whether you're visiting for the first time or returning as part of your UCLA journey, this Open House invites students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to explore the museum as a vibrant gathering place for global arts, culture, and creative exchange.
Enjoy welcome remarks by Shirley & Ralph Shapiro Director Silvia Forni and UCLA School of the Arts and Architecture Dean Lionel Popkin, followed by opportunities to explore current exhibitions and engage with Fowler curators and staff. Learn about upcoming exhibitions, public programs, and student engagement opportunities, and connect with campus partners through informal gallery conversations. Enjoy light refreshments, browse giveaways of past Fowler exhibition catalogs and posters, discover new ways to get involved with the museum, and celebrate the start of the academic year with the UCLA arts community.
Come discover, connect with, and make the Fowler part of your year!
