Join entrepreneurs, nonprofits, corporations, artisans, food vendors, and community organizations during the Doing Business As (DBA) Expo 2026, one of the signature events of State Fair Classic Weekend ONLY.
Hosted and Presented by HBCUniversal Productins in Partnership with the African American Museum at Fair Park. The DBA Expo connects businesses with students, families, HBCU alumni, professionals, community leaders, and thousands of visitors celebrating business, education, culture, and opportunity.

- Support entrepreneurship and economic growth within our communities.
Vendor Eligibility
To participate in the 2026 DBA Expo, all businesses must be legally registered and provide proof of business status.
Businesses must submit one of the following:
- Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Employer Identification Number (EIN) documentation or other IRS business registration documentation.
- Texas State Certificate of Authority (if applicable).
- Any additional documentation required for your specific vendor category.
Vendor Categories & Fees
Nonprofit Vendor — $250
Community/Small Business Vendor — $500
Corporate Vendor — Starting at $1,500 (Ask for Sponsor Information)
We can Customize your Vendor Packet Information
Each vendor will receive:
- One (1) 10' × 10' vendor space
- Vendor identification credentials
- Access to event attendees throughout the Expo
Vendors Must Provide their own
- Canopy/tent for business setup
- Tables
- Chairs
- Displays and signage
- Extension cords (if needed)

11:30 AM
Expo Hours:
11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Vendor Breakdown:
4:05 PM – 4:45 PM
Vendors are expected to remain set up and operational throughout the duration of the event.
Utilities
Limited access to electricity and water may be available through the State Fair of Texas on a first-come, first-served basis.
Utility access is not guaranteed, and vendors should plan accordingly.
Required Documents
Depending on your vendor category, you may be required to submit:
- Certificate of Liability Insurance
- Texas State Certificate of Authority (if applicable)
- Proof of IRS business registration documentation (EIN or other applicable IRS documentation)
- Dallas County Department of Public Health Permit (Food Vendors Only - SPACES ARE VERY LIMITED)
Incomplete applications may delay or prevent approval.

Vendor Payment Policy
Vendor space is not reserved until the required deposit has been received and confirmed.
Vendor spaces are assigned on a first-approved, first-paid basis. Space is limited.

Once your Eventbrite registration has been received and verified, you will be sent the official 2026 DBA Expo Vendor Application Form and additional participation instructions.
