Street Heat participant vehicle registration is open to all 1979 and older cars, pickups/trucks and emergency vehicles.

At Grand Sierra Resort we celebrate the diverse and vibrant world of the classic car culture and community. Our events are a space where enthusiasts from all backgrounds come together to share this passion. To ensure that everyone has a safe, enjoyable and respectful experience, Grand Sierra Resort has established a Participant Code of Conduct. By adhering to these guidelines, you help create an inclusive environment where creativity, community and the love of cars can thrive. Thank you for being a part of this event and for contributing to its positive spirit.
Respect and Inclusion
• Embrace Diversity: This event celebrates the classic car culture from all walks of life. Respect all participants, regardless of race, gender, nationality, age, ability, sexual orientation or vehicle type.
• Zero Tolerance for Harassment: Any form of harassment, discrimination or bullying will not be tolerated. This includes offensive comments, gestures or behavior related to identity, appearance or vehicle preference.
• Supportive Environment: Foster a welcoming atmosphere. Whether it’s a classic muscle car, custom build, in-process or anything in between, appreciate the diversity of vehicles and the people behind them.
Safety and Conduct
• Prioritize Safety: Ensure the safety of yourself and others. Dangerous driving, speeding, burnouts or stunts are strictly prohibited.
• Follow Staff Instructions: Comply with all instructions from event staff, security and volunteers. They are there to ensure a smooth and safe experience for everyone.
• Family-Friendly Behavior: Maintain a respectful and family-friendly demeanor. Offensive language, gestures or inappropriate attire is not acceptable.
Inclusivity in Interaction
• Encourage Positive Interaction: Engage in positive and respectful conversations. Avoid judging or belittling others based on their vehicle choices or modifications.
• Ask Before Photographing: Always ask for permission before taking photos of someone’s vehicle, particularly if the owner is present.
• Inclusive Networking: Use this opportunity to learn from others and share your passion for cars. Whether you’re a novice or an expert, all levels of knowledge are welcome.
Environmental Responsibility
• Keep it Clean: Dispose of trash in designated bins and keep your area clean throughout the event.
• Prevent Fluid Spills: Be mindful of leaks and spills. If your vehicle leaks fluids, clean it up immediately and inform event staff.
• Respect the Venue: Treat the venue with care. Avoid damaging property, landscaping or infrastructure.
Alcohol, Substances and Conduct
• Drug-Free Policy: The use of illegal substances is prohibited. Participants under the influence of drugs will be removed from the event.
• No Impaired Driving: Absolutely no driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, both within the event grounds and throughout our community.
Consequences for Violations
• Enforcement of Rules: Event staff will issue warnings for minor infractions. Repeated or serious violations will result in penalties, including disqualification or removal from the event.
• Severe penalties can be imposed for violations to the Code of Conduct including revoking your participant window sticker and removal up to permanently banning from Street Heat.
• Legal and Safety Violations: Any illegal activity, violence or serious safety violations will be reported to authorities and may result in legal consequences.
• By participating in this car show, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct, promoting a safe, inclusive and enjoyable experience for everyone.
• The event organizers reserve the right to enforce these rules to maintain the integrity and positive spirit of the event.

Terms and Conditions
The main event is open to all 1979 and older cars, pickup size trucks and emergency vehicles. Any registered vehicle that is in violation or misrepresentation of these defined criteria will be removed from the Event. The registration window sticker will also be removed from the vehicle and all registration monies paid to Grand Sierra Resort / Street Heat, will be forfeited. Grand Sierra Resort reserves the right to cancel any registration found to not meet requirements of Street Heat vehicle specifications. DMV Registration on the registered vehicle will be required at Event Check-In. Entry fee varies upon type requested.
Insurance: All registered vehicles must carry automobile liability coverage with minimum limits of $15,000/$30,000 bodily injury and $10,000 property damage. The Undersigned acknowledges and understands that no insurance is available for coverage of the Undersigned unless otherwise provided by private insurance or obtained by the Undersigned.
Entry and Advertising Release: In consideration of this entry, vehicle owner and spouse/guest agree to permit Grand Sierra Resort the use of their names and pictures, and pictures of their vehicles for publicity, advertising and commercial purposes (including but not limited to: newspapers, magazines, radio, social media and television) before, during and after the Event and do hereby relinquish any rights whatsoever to any photos taken in connection with the Event, and give permission to publish or sell or otherwise dispose of said photographs to Grand Sierra Resort. All publicity and advertising rights reserved by Grand Sierra Resort.
Operation: Event management reserves the right to restrict entrants to acceptable behavior during any and all activities of Street Heat. Open headers, unnecessary tire spin or any other reason an entrant or his/her vehicle, their appearance or conduct are deemed objectionable by event management, entrant and his/her vehicle will be subject to eviction from the Event. This includes persons, things, conduct, printed matter or any act or item of poor character which the management considers objectionable to the Event’s well-being. In the case of any eviction or restriction, Grand Sierra Resort is not liable for refunding entry fees except at its own discretion.
Liability: In consideration of the acceptance of the right to participate, entrants, participants, and spectators, by execution of this entry form, release and discharge Street Heat and Grand Sierra Resort, and their officers, directors, trustees, employees, agents, representatives, volunteers and servant, and anyone else connected with the management or presentation of Street Heat of and from and all known or unknown damages, injuries, losses, judgments and/or claims, from any cause whatsoever that may be suffered by entrant to his/her person or property. Further, each entrant expressly agrees to indemnify all of the foregoing entities, firms, person and bodies of and from any and all liability occasioned or resulting from the conduct of entrants or any participants assisting or cooperating with entrants and under the direction or control of entrants. Entrants agree that participation in any contests, games, or activities may be limited.
Rules and Regulations
Check-In information to follow. Some regulations of the Event are as follows:
• Street Heat reserves the right to cancel any registration found not to meet requirements of the Street Heat vehicle specifications.
• Registered participants must be 18 years of age or older. I have read this form and agree to all conditions of the Street Heat application and to rules governing the Event as set forth on this form and agree to observe all rules and direction of the Event management.
• All unpaid venue parking is on a first-come, first-served basis.
• No physical contact with spectators during cruises.
• Politically affiliated printed material or “For Sale signs” are NOT ALLOWED on registered vehicles during Street Heat activity.
• No obscene language is allowed either on signs or displayed in any manner on registered vehicles.
• Participants may not sell merchandise of any type.
• Due to liability waiver requirements, The STREET HEAT vehicle registration window sticker to be given at Check-In can only be used on the STREET HEAT registered vehicle.
• Event Management reserves the right to restrict entrants to acceptable behavior during any and all activities of Street Heat, Inc. Open headers, unnecessary tire spin, or any other dangerous or inappropriate behavior will result in management eviction of an entrant and/or his/her vehicle. Law enforcement will confiscate the window sticker and possibly cite any violators. In case of eviction, Street Heat will not refund entry fees.
• For safety reasons, use of pneumatics and hydraulics are strictly prohibited during any official Street Heat cruise.
• IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP STREET HEAT INFORMED IF YOU CHANGE THE VEHICLE YOU WILL BE BRINGING. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN YOUR DISQUALIFICATION OF ANY AWARDS GIVEN.
• DON’T FORGET, YOU MUST BRING PROOF OF CURRENT DMV REGISTRATION WITH YOU TO PARTICIPANT CHECK-IN.
Waiver and Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement
1. Waiver and Release of Liability. In return for being permitted to participate in Street Heat (the "Activity"), including any associated use of the premises, facilities, staff, equipment, transportation, and services of GSR, I, voluntarily release, waive, discharge, the GSR and its successors, attorneys, insurers, brokers, principals, employers, officers, directors, shareholders, members, partners, guarantors, agents, employees, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and contractors (collectively, the “GSR Parties”) from all liability for injuries or death or property damage resulting from or associated in any way with my preparation for or participation in the Activity and any use of the GSR premises and facilities (collectively, “Claims”), and I promise not to sue the GSR or the GSR Parties for those Claims. This waiver and release is applicable even though the negligent activities of the GSR or the GSR Parties or a dangerous condition of public property may have caused or contributed to the Claims. I knowingly and unequivocally waive, release, and discharge all rights that I or my heirs, assigns, agents or other representatives may have or which hereafter may accrue to me, to file any claim, lawsuit or any other cause of action against the GSR or GSR Parties as a result of preparing for or participating in the Activity. In granting this full and complete release and waiver of liability, I specifically waive all rights afforded by any statute which limits the effect of a release with respect to unknown claims.
2. Assumption of Risks. I understand and acknowledge that (a) participation in the Activity may carry with it certain risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injury, (b) the specific risks vary from one activity to another, but may range from property damage, injuries, slips, trips, or falls, burns, bone breaks, fractures, sprains and strains, electrical shock, or independent actions of third parties, resulting in minor injuries such as scratches, bruises, and sprains/strains, to major injuries / illnesses such as eye injury, joint or bone injuries, heart attacks, and concussions, to catastrophic injuries / illnesses such as paralysis and death, to illnesses such as allergic reactions and infections and (c) these risks cannot be eliminated without compromising the essential qualities of the Activity. I willingly and knowingly assume liability and responsibility for ANY AND ALL risks which may be associated with preparation for and participation in the Activity.
3. Indemnification. I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold the GSR and the GSR Parties harmless from all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including attorney’s fees, (collectively, “Claims”) arising out of my involvement in the Activity and to reimburse them for any Claims incurred.
4. Representations and Covenants. To the best of my knowledge, I have no medical, physical, or emotional health condition which would hinder or prevent my participation in the Activity. I also certify that I am physically fit and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical person. In the case of sickness, accident, or injury, the GSR and GSR Parties have my express permission to secure, at my expense, such medical attention as is deemed necessary in the sole discretion of the GSR or the GSR Parties. I agree to follow all safety and security rules and policies of the GSR provided to me.
5. Severability; Governing Law; Jurisdiction. I agree that this Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law and that if any portion is held invalid the remaining portions will continue to have full legal force and effect. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without giving effect to any conflict or choice of law provision that would result in the imposition of another state’s law. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the State of Nevada.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF UNDERSTANDING
I (a) have read this Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement, (b) fully appreciate the danger of the activities associated with the Activity and fully understand the terms set forth above, and (c) understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including my right to sue. I confirm that I have been given ample time to review and understand the agreement and I am signing the agreement freely and voluntarily, and intend my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
