Contra Costa College Vocal Department Fundraiser 2026-2027

Hello Friends and Family,

We hope that you have had a great year! At Contra Costa College Music Department we have had a wonderfully vibrant year of student engagement, learning, and outstanding performances.

Continuing with our hybrid instruction, which focuses on recording, video, and performance industry skills, students are thriving.

September is fundraising month for the Music Department. For students in the vocal program, we hope that you will consider supporting this vibrant community. Any amount is appreciated. Since we are largely self-funded, we rely on this September fundraiser and are so grateful to each and everyone who supports us in any way possible.

Funds raised provide for purchases of music, costumes, accompanists, equipment, festivals and performances.

Last year featured many highlights within our program:

• Our Fall Video concert added performances from classes throughout our Department.

• As part of the video concert, JAZZ-ology produced a student video, which used home recordings and home video.
