Come along for a mushroom walk, where we will identify funky fungi!
Join Naturas for an informal mushroom walk. Gain confidence in your nature skills by learning from others - this will be a simple walk with guides and apps to help identification. Identifying mushrooms to species level is often difficult; note we will NOT be foraging for this reason.
Here's what you can expect:
- We will identify funky fungi families using guides and iNaturalist/Seek.
- Learn tree and fungal associations, as well as some basic mushroom families near Cambusbarron, Stirling.
- We will follow an aprox. 5km nature trail around mature woodlands, with a break for lunch/discussion.
- Learn first-hand from other enthusiasts; learn about cultural or culinary uses.
No prior ecology experience is required to join in!
If the cost of the workshop is an issue, please get in touch with us via our email contact.naturas@gmail.com
