Climate Week NYC: Recycling Center Tour + Happy Hour

Sure We Can is a non-profit redemption center founded by and for canners -- people who collect and redeem bottles and cans to earn a living. If you've ever wondered about people pushing shopping carts full of empty beverage containers (and their key role as green workers building our circular economy) this event is for you!

Come visit our 12,000 square foot facility where ~1 million cans and bottles are sorted and redeemed each month. We'll do a 30-minute tour of our site, followed by a happy hour where you'll have a chance to enjoy refreshments and mingle with other guests and learn about our efforts to update New York State's Bottle Bill.
