Calling all homeschoolers! Come join us @ the Powell Branch Library once a month for programming tailored especially for you!
All sessions are for ages 7-12.
If you are looking for exciting and challenging ways to extend your homeschool experience, the Powell Branch is the place to be! We use a hands-on approach to explore a variety of curriculum areas, including STEM activities, social science projects, and even learning to play an instrument. Each week brings a new adventure!
Monthly Topics & Activities:
September 15: STEM activity-Balloon Rockets. Introduce instruments and music for practice.
September 29: Apple science activities. We will discuss Geography Day projects.
October 13: Geography Day! Get your passport stamped as you learn about different countries and sample some cuisine.
October 27: Halloween themed STEM
November 10: American Indian art activity
December 1: ELA Day- Library scavenger hunt and parts of speech games.
December 15: Christmas STEM
