Feast Makers: Feast Day Service (Shift 2) · Bowls & Spoons 2026

Overview

Feast Day, Shift 2. Serve the meal and run the activity stations as the community gathers at George Floyd Square.

The whole week leads here. On Saturday, October 3, Bowls & Spoons becomes a free community meal and celebration, and it takes a crew to keep it flowing.

Shift 2 is the heart of the day. Feast Makers help run the activity stations, support the serving line, and keep the space welcoming as neighbors arrive, music plays, and the celebration builds toward the meal. You'll work side by side with neighbors and the City Food Studio team. No experience needed, just bring your hands and your good energy.

This is a volunteer opportunity, an invitation to come help make the feast happen.

Good to know: Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you can work in. Expect to be on your feet. Water and snacks provided. Questions? Reach out to the City Food Studio team before you register.
