Atlanta Eco-Singles: Meet people while restoring the forest

Atlanta Eco-Singles: Meet people while restoring the forest

Overview

A friends first gathering, where connection grows through shared ecological service, movement, and authentic relating.

This MURMURR experience is designed to connect earth loving singles in the Atlanta area alongside ecological service, movement & authentic relating.

Best described as a friendship-first gathering for anyone craving warm, purpose-driven community — whether you’re looking for new friendships, romantic connection, or simply a tribe of people who show up fully and authentically.

No alcohol, no small talk pressure, no forced icebreakers — just people, land, service, curiosity and shared presence.

What we’ll do together:

🧘 Move together — An all levels yoga class guided by Stephy Joy, learn about body mechanics & posture while we gently warm-up our bodies for our service project. (Our movement session will be weather permitting)

🌿 Tend the land — We’ll be pulling invasive non-native plants and putting native plants and seeds in the ground in Zonolite Park, alongside a guided walk with forager & nature-based therapist Josh Wayne, learning as we work and walk the ecosystem we’re supporting.

💬 Relate deeper — Relating games and communication practices introducing the basics of nonviolent communication. Learning simple tools for listening and speaking that strengthen any relationship, romantic, family, platonic, or otherwise.

This is for the mindful, the earth-lovers, anyone tired of surface-level connection, and those seeking diverse and authentic community. All ages and all stages of life welcome. Come to tend the land — stay for the people you meet doing it.

This is a rain or shine event, there is a covered Pergola that we will connect under and we will still plan to venture into the forest to learn about the mushrooms & plants (good coverage with the trees!), be prepared to pull and plant in the rain! No yoga if it's raining, we'll just do a few stretches to warm up under the pergola (We will reschedule in the event of severe weather)

Please wear clothes/shoes you can move and get dirty in. Long sleeves and pants is recommended. Bring water, a yoga mat and/or towel, gardening gloves and a shovel if you have them (we will have both available), and an open heart.

Your participation and donations support the 501(C)3 non-profit Whole, Inc. and Our mission to cultivate a partnership culture rooted in compassionate communication, ecological restoration & sustainability, alongside celebration and service to the Whole of existence.
