Information provided to and collected by Eventbrite, a self-service ticketing platform, is neither maintained by the Florida International University, nor an education record as defined by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), sections 1002.225 and 1006.52, Florida Statutes, and Regulation FIU-108. While a student may voluntarily elect to provide their University email address and/or Panther ID number to Eventbrite to register or login, there is no requirement to do so. Students who do not wish to disclose their University email address and/or Panther ID number, should instead elect to use their personal email address. Please note that electing to provide your University email address and/or Panther ID number to Eventbrite does not confer FERPA protection to the email address and/or Panther ID number, or any accompanying identifiable information that is provided.
