Mahjong Night at Kings Co Imperial

Come join us for an evening of Chinese Mahjong, a family-style Chinese feast, and a guided lesson.

Join Dragons Den Mahjong for an evening of traditional Chinese mahjong, good company, and a family-style Chinese feast at Kings Co Imperial in Williamsburg.

Whether you’ve never touched a mahjong tile before or already know your way around the table, you’re welcome.

We’ll begin the evening with a guided lesson in Chinese/Hong Kong-style mahjong, covering the tiles, setup, rules, strategy, and how to build a winning hand. Then we’ll break into tables and play!

Mahjong is traditionally a four-player game, so bring your crew and claim a table together — or come solo and we’ll match you with fellow players. No partner or group required.

Already know how to play and want to go deeper? Scoring and points lessons are available on request during the evening.

American Mahjong players are welcome to bring their own American Mahjong Sets for open play. (No American Lessons will be provided but open-play allowed).

Your ticket also includes a family-style Chinese feast from Kings Co Imperial, served for the table while we play:

All mahjong sets and playing materials are provided. Just bring yourself, an appetite, and your game face.

Beginners are absolutely welcome. Come to learn, come to play, come to eat — and maybe leave with a few new mahjong friends.

What your ticket includes: a guided Chinese/Hong Kong mahjong lesson, open play, optional scoring/points instruction, use of all mahjong sets and materials, and the full family-style dinner.
