The Perfect Pairing: Ivotion Meets the Exocad Split Bar

Overview

Explore the complete digital workflow for designing an Ivotion All-on-X monolithic split-bar prosthesis using exocad DentalCAD.

Course Description
The Ivotion denture process has revolutionized denture fabrication with its unique material design and manufacturing solution. Truly monolithic PMMA with a seamless tooth to gingiva transition maximize both strength and esthetics. This unique process and material solution has now been applied to the exocad bar and sleeve implant restoration by Imagine. This course will provide a hands-on design experience for using the Ivotion library and the details behind an effective bar and sleeve workflow. Critical design features for bars will be emphasized, including resistance and retention as well as manufacturability. Finally, clinical cases will be presented demonstrating the results of this truly unique digital workflow.

Learning Objectives

1. Understand the Ivotion tooth library and design requirements

2. Appreciate the prosthodontic principles of bar design, with a practical emphasis on

strength, prosthetic space, and optimized contours for milling.

3. Understand the principles of the split-bar workflow in exocad through a hands-on

design experience

4. Navigate the requirements for manufacturing and assembly to obtain the most ideal

Ivotion Bar and Sleeve result with a spit-file workflow (with no re-scanning of the

milled bar.)

This is Great Timing

Since many prosthodontists and dental professionals will already be in Chicago for the ACP Annual Session, this is the perfect opportunity to add a focused, hands-on learning experience to your trip. Imagine Academy’s Ivotion All-on-X Workshop is being held at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel—right next door to the Hyatt Regency Chicago—making it easy to experience both events without missing a beat.
