Join BXVI for a evening of poetry by and about St. Francis and St. Junipero Serra to celebrate St. Francis's Transitus and SF's founding

Come and see a showing of the EWTN documentary on St. Junipero Serra as one of America’s Catholic Founders, hosted by Archbishop Cordileone and commissioned by the Benedict XVI Institute. Bring a favorite poem about St. Francis of Assisi, your own or someone else’s for a poetry reading. Pray St. Francis’s Canticle for All Creatures aloud together in the new English translation by America’s premiere Catholic poet and son of California Dana Gioia.
Homemade Dinner together to follow made for you by Maggie Gallagher, executive director of the Benedict XVI Institute.
