MadCru Sangria Coquito Experience
Chicago’s original Coquito-making experiences, now bringing even more of the spirit, music, and energy of a Puerto Rican Christmas
Join MadCru Sangria for one of Chicago’s original Coquito-making experiences, bringing even more of the spirit, music, and energy of a Puerto Rican Christmas to the community.
Led by MadCru founder, Madeline Cruz, this hands-on experience invites you to learn the art of making Coquito, Puerto Rico’s beloved creamy coconut holiday drink. You’ll create your own batch from start to finish while learning about the flavors, traditions, and cultural significance that have made Coquito a staple of Puerto Rican holiday celebrations for generations.
But in Puerto Rico, Navidad is about so much more than what’s on the table.
Through live plena, music, rhythm, and celebration, we want you to feel as though you’ve stepped out of Chicago and into Christmas on the island.
