Ofrenda Whipped Clay Dia De Los Muertos Candle Workshop

Join Arte Caro for a creative and meaningful Día de los Muertos Ofrenda Candle Workshop, where art, tradition, and remembrance come together.

Participants will create their own one-of-a-kind prayer candle using colorful whipped clay, a mini gold frame with their choice of artwork, letter beads, charms, and decorative embellishments. Each candle can be dedicated to a loved one, ancestor, beloved pet, or someone who has made a meaningful impact in your life—or simply created as a celebration of Día de los Muertos.

We'll also learn about the meaning of Día de los Muertos, the ofrenda, and the significance of candlelight within the tradition. A short reflection activity will invite participants to think about who they remember and the memories they want to carry forward.

Arte Caro celebrates Latin American art and traditions through colorful, approachable, hands-on creative experiences. Your instructor has years of experience conducting arts and crafts workshops and community events, with a passion for creating welcoming spaces where people can learn, connect, and express themselves through art.
