Author & Book Signing with Mariana Bissonnette
Join parenting author and Montessori educator Mariana Bissonnette for a special book signing following two workshops exploring the Science of Reading—one designed for educators and one for parents.
Mariana Bissonnette is the author of the beautifully illustrated Montessori Literacy Series, a four-book progression that follows children from approximately ages 2–6: The Montessori Alphabet Book, The Montessori Digraph Book, The Montessori Writing Book, and The Montessori Reading Book. Grounded in Montessori principles and informed by child development, the series offers a thoughtful, developmentally sequenced approach to building the foundations for literacy. Also available will be her award-winning book, Babies Build Toddlers, a beautifully illustrated guide to development from birth through 18 months, available in both English and Spanish.
Mariana creates resources that deepen the adult's understanding of the child so they may guide development without overpowering it. Her work is grounded in anti-bias, anti-racist Montessori with a commitment to the liberation of the child.
The signing will be an opportunity to meet Mariana, explore her books, ask questions, and have your copies signed.
