join for some fun and chaotic exercise = PLOGGING (jogging/walking while picking up litter). It'll be a hoot! Stay for beers at Marz after
Trash People exists to facilitate community connection and contribution in Chicago.
Plogging in McKinley Park?! Yes, you read that right.
Plogging = picking up trash while jogging. We'll meet at 7pm in front of Marz Brewing (3630 S Iron St) to jog around, clean up some trash and then hang after for a drink post clean-up!
There will be 2 different groups:
- Runners/joggers doing a 3-mile loop (optional trash gathering)
- Walkers doing a shorter loop while picking up trash
All clean-up equipment will be provided. Please note due to demand, registration is required by all participants.
