Important: Please read the full description before booking.

Now in its fifth edition, Mahapanchayat MUN returns on 26–27 September 2026, hosted by Children's Academy, Pratap Vihar, Ghaziabad, in association with Unnati, The Knowledge Hub for Civil Aspirants.

Ekklesia is more than a youth conference. Rooted in India's democratic values and inspired by timeless principles of governance, it is a platform that empowers young people to question, deliberate, and lead with integrity, reinforcing a simple belief that true leadership is built on wisdom, accountability, and meaningful dialogue.

The conference draws its name and character from the idea of the collective: that the strongest decisions emerge not from authority alone, but from the ability to listen, collaborate, and build consensus. Across two days, delegates will step into committee rooms spanning Indian parliamentary bodies, international organisations, crisis simulations, and special committees, debating agendas that range from electoral reform and public health governance to global security and mythological crisis.

Delegates compete for cash prizes, trophies, certificates, and letters of appreciation, with select honours endorsed by a Member of Parliament. The conference carries a total prize pool of ₹1,50,000. Participants also gain the opportunity to learn directly from Members of Parliament, civil servants, and other eminent public figures, and to take part in an exclusive educational visit to the Parliament of India.

International delegates are warmly welcomed. For students applying to universities abroad, Mahapanchayat offers something difficult to replicate: recognition endorsed by serving Indian parliamentarians, direct engagement with civil servants and public figures, and a visit to the Parliament of India. Debating Indian and global governance alongside delegates from across the country builds the kind of cross-cultural perspective and documented international experience that strengthens a university application well beyond a standard MUN certificate.

Unnati's flagship programmes, including the Uthan Youth Parliament and Mahapanchayat MUN, have been organised on a national scale and have received messages of support from parliamentarians, civil servants, and academics, including Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Varun Gandhi, Deepender Singh Hooda, and members of the University of Delhi.
