Step inside our historic mansion as a distinguished guest at the Masquerade Gala. Adorned in your finest black-tie attire and a decorative mask, you’ll mingle with intriguing figures under floral ceilings, trade whispered rumors across the elegant parlor, and sip craft cocktails. But beneath the glamour, a dark plot is unfolding. Before the midnight hour approaches, a murder will shatter the festivities—and everyone in the room becomes a suspect.

A reservation is required. After booking, you’ll receive a short questionnaire to help us assign your character and ensure a fully immersive experience.

If you’ve never attended a murder mystery party, here is how your evening of intrigue will play out.

Before the Party: You’ll receive an email detailing your unique character persona, background story, and a "dress code" to develop your character.

The Arrival: Upon stepping through the doors of Colvin House, you’ll be handed your event envelope—complete with custom play money, private motives, and your initial tasks.

The Mingling: Once guests arrive, the game begins. Work the room, trade secrets, probe for motives, and use your cash to pay off informants, buy favors, or make high-stakes bets.

The Crime: A sudden murder shatters the celebration (spoiler alert!). From that moment, a fresh set of objectives takes effect. You’ll gather evidence, interrogate suspects, or, if you’re guilty, feverishly cover your tracks.

The Reveal: Armed with new clues, you’ll piece together the evidence to solve the crime. Remember: every character is masked, both literally and figuratively. It’s up to you to strip away the disguise and unmask the truth!

Food & Drink:

We have food and a selection of beverages (sodas, beer, and wine) for sale onsite at Colvin House! Cocktail appetizers included in ticket.

Please note that we do not allow outside food or drinks at Colvin Concerts.

Parking Info:

The first 15 cars can park FREE at George B. Swift Elementary School, just two blocks west of Colvin House (as space allows). Please come to Colvin House's back door (off Thorndale Ave) first to receive a parking permit from staff who will provide further instructions.

We also recommend The Malibu Condominiums (6007 N Sheridan) public garage, just across the street, north of Colvin House. This parking can be validated by Colvin House for $2.00 off.

Those valet rates are as follows:

· 1 Hour: $6

· 2 Hours: $10

· 3 Hours: $11

· 4 Hours: $13

We recommend arriving early if you need to park.
