SRJC Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, and the Santa Rosa High School Band invite audiences on a musical journey through stars, legends, and fantasy.
The SRJC Symphonic Band explores the magic and mystery of the imagination through music including The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, famously featured in Disney’s Fantasia; Starry Ocean, inspired by the vastness and wonder of the night sky; and the night-evoking Incantation and Dance.
The SRJC Jazz Band brings its own take on fantasy and imagination with Gates of Tashbaan from The Chronicles of Narnia, the jazz classic Stella by Starlight, and Pure Imagination from Willy Wonka.
Guest ensemble Santa Rosa High School Symphonic Band joins the performance, culminating in a special joint-ensemble finale with SRJC.
