Singapore’s Heritage Through Gardens & Stories

Explore the Heritage Gardens with your guide, where plants, traditions and stories reflect Singapore’s cultural heritage, with insights into how different cultures and historical influences have shaped Singapore.

Along the way, hear the stories behind interesting plants, discover hidden photo spots, and make connections between Singapore’s past and its modern landscape. The walk also takes you to the Supertree Grove, Dragonfly bridge, lake and surrounding waterfront, with stories of Singapore’s transformation into a City in Nature.

This is a 90-minute outdoor walking tour. It does not include admission to any paid attraction.

Time and Location

10:30am — Meet at Bayfront MRT Station (Exit B Street Level)
Meet your friendly local guide and begin your walk towards Gardens by the Bay.

12:00pm — Tour Concludes
Tour concludes outside the main Ticketing Office of Gardens by the Bay.

Please note

This is an outdoor walking tour and proceeds rain or shine. Please come prepared for Singapore’s tropical weather.

We will not be entering the cooled conservatories (Flower Dome and Cloud Forest).

The itinerary may be adjusted by the guide depending on weather, crowd conditions and other circumstances on the day.

Accessibility: Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome, and we will do our best to accommodate them. However, we cannot guarantee that the entire route will be accessible due to terrain, weather and crowd conditions.

Guests are responsible for their own safety and belongings throughout the tour. Please follow the guide’s instructions and take care when walking, especially in wet weather.

This walk is conducted in English.

No refunds will be provided due to rain, weather conditions, late arrival or failure to attend.

Minimum: 4 paying adults required for the tour to proceed.

This tour is organised and conducted by an independent tourist guide.

Price

S$25 per adult.

Children under 12 years old join free when accompanied by a paying parent or guardian, with a maximum of 2 children per paying parent or guardian. Please bring proof of age for verification on the day of the tour.

Admission tickets to the Flower Dome, Cloud Forest and other paid attractions are not included in the ticket price. Tickets for attractions can be purchased separately at venue at your own expense.
