The Grand Slam at Charlie's Watch Bar returns on Saturday September 19th with a lineup that represents something you don't see every night -- Houston comedy history, road tested experience, and the kind of stage presence that only comes from doing this for decades. ⚾ Malay Vyas @malayvyas
Houston based stand-up comedian, emcee, and writer with a strong background in unconventional humor. He has opened for major comedy names across North America and performs in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. His comedy draws from his experience navigating Indian and American life and culture and every time he gets on stage he finds a different angle nobody saw coming. A hidden gem in the Houston comedy scene and the perfect way to open a night like this.

⚾⚾ Adam Bob @adambobcomedy
Houston road comic and MPH Comedy fan favorite. Adam has performed everywhere -- comedy clubs, bars, churches, schools, private events -- and he reads every room like a book. He came back to The Grand Slam stage because the Charlie's Watch Bar crowd demanded it and he is not here to disappoint. Seasoned, sharp, and in complete command of wherever he plants his feet.

⚾⚾⚾ Jim Holder @jimholdercomedy
An 18 year veteran of stand-up comedy who has headlined clubs from coast to coast. Jim started his career at The Comedy Workshop in Houston -- the legendary stage that launched Sam Kinison and Bill Hicks and became the birthplace of the Texas Outlaw Comics. His comedy is cynical, hard-hitting, sometimes silly, always interactive, and the question audiences ask most after his set is "When are you coming back?" Tonight he comes back to the city where it all started.

Houston original. Started at the legendary Laff Stop as a doorman and worked his way to the stage, the headlining spot, and then the national circuit. Won the Funniest Person in Houston contest in 2003. Appeared on NBC's Last Comic Standing twice including a semifinal run. Comedy Central's Live at Gotham. Dave Attell's HBO special Captain Miserable -- he's the guy throwing glitter on Dave at the end. Moontower Comedy Festival. Just For Laughs Chicago. The Comedy Cellar in New York. Quick bitter wit, self deprecating humor, and sports material that hits every time. Bob Biggerstaff has been making Houston laugh for decades and September 19th he brings it all back home.
