Wine Dinner: Ca' del Baio

Barbaresco is a special place. Its storied history of neighbors banding together to elevate a single cooperative to represent themselves is legendary, and still thriving to this day. Luminaries like Bruno Giacosa and Angelo Gaja walked these sunny hills, quietly creating some of Italy's great expressions of place.

On the evening of October 20th, it is my pleasure to welcome Paola Grasso of Ca' del Baio for an intimate dinner exploring her family history and wines. Ca del Biao is among Barbaersco's benchmark producers, crafting honest, complex and ageworthy wines from their home in Treiso. Bottivino Chef Alessandro Campitelli will be serving a 3 course menu to pair alongside the families portfolio of wines. We will briefly explore the history, geography and climate of Barbaresco, while learning about Paola's wine journey. Join us for this fun and deeply informative tasting experience.
