League of Women Voters Presentation
Learn about the upcoming election and voter information from the League of Women Voters of Portland. This volunteer grassroots political organization seeks to make democracy work. The League is a nonpartisan political nonprofit. Their goal is to encourage informed and active participation in government, work to increase understanding of public policy issues, and influence public policy through education and advocacy. Topics to be covered: 1) Understanding Rank Choice Voting, 2) Vote Security and Integrity, 3) Upcoming Ballot Measures, 4) State and Federal voting topics as appropriate.
