👞👠 Shoes/Clothing - clothing should comfortable and suitable for dancing/moving; please bring a change of clean/dry shoes (not worn outside); if you don't have dance shoes yet, dress shoes are best; typical tennis shoes are worst (they stick to the dance floor and prevent your feet from pivoting/turning).

Cha-cha-chá is danced to authentic Cuban music, although it is often danced to Latin Pop or Latin Rock. It is energetic and with a steady beat. Styles of cha-cha-chá dance may differ in the place of the chasse in the rhythmical structure.
