Beginner Corset Making Workshop

Join us for a one-day hands-on workshop designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of corset construction. During the class, you’ll create a full corset sampler while learning essential sewing, construction, and finishing techniques that you can take with you into your future corset-making projects.

In this workshop, we’ll cover:

• Inserting a busk
• A variety of boning channels and seam techniques
• Creating a center-back lacing panel
• Exploring different types of boning
• Finishing your sampler with beautiful binding

Your workshop fee includes:
🧵 All materials needed to complete your sampler, including a busk, bones, eyelets, coutil, and thread
🥪 Lunch and light refreshments
🪡 Use of a sewing machine bring your own or use one of ours in the studio

A note about finishing:
Everyone learns at their own pace, so whether you complete your entire sampler during the workshop will depend on your individual sewing experience and learning speed. Our goal is for you to leave with a completed half-corset and the knowledge and confidence to finish the other half at home independently.

No previous corset-making experience is necessary just bring your creativity and a willingness to learn! ✨
