Decarbonizing the Commute: Bikes, Transit & Micromobility
Learn, connect, and explore how biking, transit, and micromobility can create more convenient, accessible, and sustainable ways to commute.
Be part of the conversation about the future of transportation in our region. Hear from the City of Bellevue, Choose Your Way Bellevue, King County Metro, and Lime on how biking, transit, micromobility, and commuter resources can work together to create more convenient, accessible alternatives to driving.
What to Expect:
- City of Bellevue: Bike/pedestrian infrastructure, micromobility, and transportation programs.
- Choose Your Way Bellevue: Commuter resources and bike-to-transit connections.
- King County Metro: Bike and Scoot to Transit and other commuter resources.
- Lime: Shared micromobility and using bikes and e-bikes for commuting.
- Networking & Resources: Connect with fellow professionals and explore local resources.
- Coffee & Donuts: Enjoy refreshments while you connect.
Following the discussion and networking, attendees will have the opportunity to join a 30-minute guided Lime bike ride and experience firsthand how shared micromobility can connect with Bellevue’s transportation network.
The ride is completely optional, and Lime will provide the bikes and necessary equipment. No personal bike is required to participate.
Whether you are involved in sustainability, transportation, building operations, development, or simply interested in creating more accessible and sustainable transportation options, this event is an opportunity to learn about local programs and resources, connect with transportation leaders and fellow professionals, and explore practical ways to support lower-carbon commuting.
Come learn, connect, and explore new ways to decarbonize the commute.
