This special Aperitivo Italiano, From Alba to Barolo: A Night in Piemonte, invites guests to explore the character, terroir, and traditions behind four exceptional wines from Piedmont: Barbera d’Asti, Nebbiolo d’Alba, Barbaresco Riserva, and Barolo. Together, these wines offer a journey through one of Italy’s most renowned wine territories, from the rolling hills of Alba to the prestigious vineyards of Barolo.

Meet the Presenter
Giovanni Montanelli has been a familiar face at the Italian Cultural & Community Center of Houston, having joined us on different occasions to share his knowledge and passion for Italian food, wine, and culinary traditions. We are excited to welcome him back once again for this special Aperitivo Italiano.
Giovanni Montanelli is the Chief Ambassador of Vero Italian Traditional Food, where he plays an important role in promoting the authenticity, excellence, and rich culinary traditions of Italy. Through his work, he brings the true flavors and traditions of Italian gastronomy to audiences in the United States, sharing the stories and craftsmanship behind the products that make Italian cuisine so distinctive.
We are thrilled to welcome him back to the ICCC for From Alba to Barolo: A Night in Piemonte, where he will guide us on a flavorful journey through the wines and traditions of one of Italy’s most celebrated wine regions.
