Auditions: Macabaret Scary Stories to Tell at the Legion

Pumphouse Unlimited is looking for spooky, funny, theatrical, unusual, and wonderfully weird performers for Macabaret, a Halloween variety show presented in the style of a live radio/podcast broadcast—complete with hosts, fake commercials, and an eclectic lineup of acts.

Storytellers, singers, poets, comedians, magicians, fortune tellers, and spooky acts of all kinds are encouraged to audition. Original works, covers, and unique acts are all welcome, as are solo performers, duos, and groups.

Auditions:
September 18, 7–9 PM
September 19, 12–3 PM
Historic Legion Theatre

Performers must be 16+. Please prepare 1–3 minutes for your audition. Selected acts must be no longer than 6 minutes and appropriate for a PG-13 production.

Singers should bring a backing track and will have access to a Bluetooth speaker. Live accompaniment is also welcome, but performers are responsible for providing any necessary materials and setup.

Video auditions are welcome and must be submitted before in-person auditions begin. Email submissions to justine@pumphouseplayers.com. For large video files, we recommend using a free file-transfer service such as WeTransfer.

Performances: October 2 at 8 PM and October 3 at 3 PM & 8 PM.
