A half-day of education, solutions, and support for women navigating perimenopause and menopause. Hosted by OsteoStrong.
About this event
Most women see three or more doctors before anyone says the word perimenopause.
Second Spring is Houston's menopause summit — one Saturday morning bringing together the physicians, specialists, and practices who work with women in midlife every day. Four main-stage sessions, audience Q&A after every talk, a closing panel with all speakers, and an exhibitor floor of Houston practices you can talk to directly.
Houston has no shortage of skilled practitioners who treat this stage well. Second Spring puts a room full of them within reach in a single morning — so you can hear how they think, ask what you've been meaning to ask, and walk out knowing who to call.
What the morning covers
Hormone therapy and what the evidence says. Bone density and why menopause is a bone health event. Pelvic floor health, bladder changes, and intimacy. The mind-body connection and the mood, sleep, and stress changes of this stage. Plus the symptoms most women are told to simply live with.

- Dr. Mila McManus, MD — Functional Medicine Doctor, The Woodlands Institute for Health and Wellness

On the exhibitor floor
OsteoStrong, Heights of Health, beem Light Sauna, Elevate Spine & Sport, Core Health & Wellness, and more to be announced. Fifty minutes of dedicated floor time is built into the schedule across three breaks, so you don't have to choose between a session and a conversation. Many exhibitors take appointments on the day.
Who it's for
Women in perimenopause, menopause, or postmenopause — most attendees are between 40 and 65. Partners, friends, and adult daughters are welcome, and one short session is dedicated to the people alongside. Clinicians who want to serve midlife women better are welcome too.
