Plates and Mates is a curated series to make new foodie friends in your city! Shared appetizer for the table is included in your ticket price. Other food and drinks available for purchase.

It’s all about supporting local restaurants, discovering new places across the city, and meeting people who love trying new things just as much as you do.

This is not a singles exclusive event. Open to anyone of all ages 21+.

Meet new people, try new local spots, & enjoy great convos.

AGENDA:

• 9:00am - ensure your DINNER profile is complete so we can match you with people you'll most likely be friends with
• 1-2 hours before, check your email and phone for your table assignment
• 12:00pm - arrive and find your table
• 12:00-2:00pm - women's brunch with the

HOW IT WORKS:

1. Sign up for the dinner to reserve your spot. It’s $10 to reserve your spot, which covers the curation and shared appetizer for the table.
2. All food and beverage orders during dinner are paid for individually.
3. Fill out a brief profile (so we can match you with humans that you have similarities with) by 9:00am that morning of.
4. Wait for your restaurant and table info. You will be notified 1-2 hours from the dinner date.
5. Show up to dine. Each table with consist of 4-6 strangers. Make new friends with conversation prompts and ice breakers, then pay for your own bill.
6. After the meal, stick around and socialize with the other tables.

Known for his popular Tex-Mex food truck-Sol Kitchen, Jerry Perez has become a staple in Fort Wayne’s culinary scene. His love for street tacos began as a child in Laredo, Texas. He started selling his brand of tacos from a cart in 2012 on the street corners of downtown Fort Wayne. The YLNI Barr Street Farmers Market was where his culinary creations took flight. He quickly made friends with the farmers and loved utilizing locally grown/raised ingredients in his preparations. While Perez embraces the food of many cultures, strong influences circle back to his Mexican and Texan roots. With an emphasis on fresh, local, non-GMO and organic ingredients, Perez has partnered with local farms and businesses, including Wood Farms, Yellow Cup Coffee Roasters, and several others to create his menu of playful, yet elevated fare.

Each dinner matches strangers with shared interests at one of our favorite local spots, turning solo plans into a night of discovery, delicious food, and great conversation.
