Join us for a meaningful day of trail clearing at Camp Paumalu as we care for the ʻaina and prepare the camp’s grounds!
What We’ll Be Doing
- Removing invasive: plant species
- Clearing and maintaining camp trails
- Supporting the health and safety of trails used by girls, families, and community groups all summer long
No prior trail experience is required—just a willingness to get your hands dirty and work as part of a team.
Recommended for ages 12+ (Cadette, Senior or Ambassador Troops and adults). Trail maintenance and invasive species removal involve physical work and hand tools, so this day is best suited for older youth and adults. Youth 12+ may participate w/ adult supervision
What to Bring:
- Closed-toe shoes
- Sun protection (hat, sunscreen)
- Reusable water bottle
- Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
- A positive attitude and teamwork spirit 🌱

- Volunteers passionate about environmental stewardship
- Community members who enjoy working outside
- Those who want to give back to the ʻāina in a tangible way
- Anyone excited to spend a day with like-minded, purpose-driven people
Sign up individually or as a group! This volunteer day is open to Girl Scout volunteers, Troops, and community members. You do not need to be a Girl Scout member to participate, everyone is welcome to come mālama i ka ʻāina with us!
