About Delana

Delana Benson is a professional dancer, choreographer, and educator based in Dallas, TX. Originally from Missouri, she moved to Dallas to continue her professional training through the SoulEscape SEGWAY Professional Training Program under the direction of Justin Giles, which she has since completed. She has toured nationally with DanceMakers as part of their Collective and currently travels across the country with WorshipWerk, assisting Liz Bezler while continuing to teach, choreograph, and create.

Her contemporary classes focus on improvisation, movement exploration, and phrase work. Delana is passionate about creating an honest, vulnerable, and safe space where dancers can come as they are, move freely, and enjoy dance for what it is—while being challenged to grow in their creativity, confidence, and individual voice.
