MY LIFE. MY VOICE Youth Against Suicide Summit

MY LIFE. MY VOICE Youth Against Suicide Summit

Overview

One day. One community. One mission: creating a space where young people are heard, seen, loved, and reminded that there is HOPE.

My Life My Voice is more than a summit.

It is a declaration to every young person who has ever felt unseen, unheard, overwhelmed, isolated, or unsure whether what they were carrying mattered:

Your life matters. Your voice matters. And you do not have to carry it alone.

The My Life My Voice: Youth Against Suicide Summit brings young people, parents and caregivers, mental health professionals, faith leaders, community organizations, advocates, creatives, and resource providers together for one intentional day centered on connection, conversation, resources, expression, and HOPE.

We are creating the kind of space where difficult conversations don't have to happen in whispers.

A space where young people can express themselves.

A space where parents can listen, learn, and ask questions.

A space where professionals and community leaders can connect families with resources.

And a space where we can remind an entire generation that asking for support is not the end of their story.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Throughout the day, attendees will experience a combination of:

  • Youth-centered conversations and activities
  • Parent and caregiver conversations
  • Mental health and community resources
  • Creative expression through art, music, writing, and movement
  • Conversations with professionals, advocates, faith leaders, survivors, and families
  • Opportunities for connection and community
  • Practical tools for continuing the conversation beyond the summit

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Everyone who believes our young people deserve to be heard.

Young people and their families are at the center of this experience, but there is no age limit for attending. Parents, educators, mentors, youth leaders, community members, mental health professionals, ministry leaders, advocates, and anyone committed to creating safer communities for young people are invited.

THIS IS BIGGER THAN ONE DAY.

September 19 is an opportunity for our community to come together and say—with our presence, our resources, and our actions—that our young people matter.

We believe HOPE can look like a conversation.

HOPE can look like a resource.

HOPE can look like someone finally listening.

HOPE can look like realizing you're not alone.

And sometimes, HOPE looks like an entire community showing up.

One day. One community. One mission.

Love. Grow. Serve.
