The Cover Story: A Magazine Journey from Concept to Publication

The Cover Story: A Magazine Journey from Concept to Publication

Overview

Come learn what inspired the creation of a local magazine that features artists, organizations, and even ghosts!

In 2021, Paula Wright took on the challenge of creating a magazine to support the Bradenton community. The result was Bradenton Magazine, a publication that features local artists on the cover and shares stories about the area’s people, organizations, history, and even ghosts!

During this professional development luncheon, Paula will share what inspired her to found Bradenton Magazine, some of the successes and challenges along the way, and her hopes for the future. In addition, we will also hear from CWC’s own Kendra Gemma about her role as a contributing writer, copy editor, and proofreader.

This event is powered by CWC-FPRA's annual sponsors: Children First, Grapevine Communications, VeraCruz Advisory, Joe Curley, APR, CPRC, Sir Speedy Sarasota, Oysters Rock Hospitality, and Visit Sarasota County.
