A visionary storyteller and creative leader, Kristen serves as the Chief Brand Officer of The RealReal, the world’s largest marketplace for authenticated luxury resale. In this role, she orchestrates the company’s global brand identity and creative strategy across corporate, advertising, and retail divisions. Kristen is the host of Real Talk, a podcast featuring deep-dives with acclaimed creatives on the evolution of personal style, and is the co-author of the upcoming book RealStyle (Abrams, October 2026), a definitive guide to authentic self-expression.

A lifelong lover and seeker of second hand, Kristen has spent her career exploring style as a form of personal and cultural expression. She is the editor of “Stuff: A New York Life of Cultural Chaos,” by Kim Hastreiter, a memoir and cultural history through the lens of one iconic New Yorker’s collection of stuff.

Kristen’s extensive industry experience includes serving as Senior Vice President at Kate Spade New York, where she spearheaded the award-winning Missadventure series, and as Creative Director at Isaac Mizrahi. A co-founder of the brand Apiece Apart, Kristen has also consulted for global brands including GAP and Madewell. Her editorial contributions have been featured in Paper, Teen Vogue, and Harper’s Bazaar.
