Using Outreach to Inform the 2027 PIT Count and Vice-Versa

Join us for an information session to learn how to take full advantage of Counting Us, the Regional Command Center, and leveraging the Street Outreach app Show The Way to inform Point-in-Time planning and execution.

This session will focus on the utilizing existing outreach for the count, and will include the following topics:

• Using Show The Way to inform deployment areas based on on-going encampment information
• Outlining a hybrid count utilizing existing outreach workers using Show The Way, and volunteers using Counting Us
• Using both Show The Way and Known Location Surveys to identify hotspots
• "Taking attendance" the day of the count rather than conducting a full census
• Leverging existing outreach workers for tougher count areas that require more training than volunteers can be provided
• Data-matching between STW, Counting Us, and HMIS post-count

We will also share new features and leave time to open the meeting for questions and answers.
