Synopsis:
When Mackenzie receives an eviction notice just months after the end of a four-year relationship, she has 72 hours to pack up the apartment where she built a life she thought would last forever. As the hours slip away, packing up her home becomes something much bigger than moving on. What begins as an impossible goodbye to a place slowly reveals itself to be something much deeper, forcing Mackenzie to confront the memories, grief, and unanswered questions she's spent months trying to outrun. Over three days, and one very talkative inner monologue, she begins sorting through boxes, memories, and the impossible question of what happens to all the love that no longer has somewhere to go.

Alicia Becker (Director) is a multifaceted creative having spent most of her life in entertainment. Starting in theater and tv as a child she always wanted to direct and produce. Alicia is from Manhattan, New York and graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a BFA in Directing and Performing. Alicia worked for Dodgers Properties as an assistant producer and director on Broadway workshops and out of town previews and was thrilled to work with Rupert Holmes on the Broadway revival of The Mystery of Edwin Drood. After moving to LA she focused on working with artists and musicians while continuing to produce and direct. She now splits her time between London, New York and Los Angeles, directing music videos and curating live performances and tours for music artists. Alicia is overjoyed to be returning to theater and collaborating with Mallory on this play.

Mallory Rose Diekmann (Mackenzie) is a playwright, screenwriter, actor, and filmmaker originally from Saint Paul, Minnesota. She is a graduate of Kansas State University and an Irene Ryan Award nominee for excellence in acting. Her work spans stage and screen, including roles in NBC's Good Girls, Perfect (pilot), and Violated (short). In 2020, she wrote, produced, and starred in Off Limits, a short film exploring the rideshare experience as a young woman, before making her directorial debut with Nothing Feels Real. 3 Days Notice, which premiered to a sold-out audience in New York, marks her playwriting debut. She is thrilled to return to Caveat for its next chapter.
