Clean Water Clean Up: Rake the Lake

Join us for a community clean up at Sand Point Beach Park. Bring a rake and help clear the leaves from around the beach! All ages welcome.
When leaves fall in autumn, they often end up covering storm drains or washing to the shorelines. When leaves decay, they release nutrients that can contribute to algae blooms when summer rolls back around.
Join us to rake the leaves up around Sand Point Beach and to learn more about ways to help keep the lakes clean and clear. Snacks and fun contests provided; bring a rake!
This event is hosted by Prior Lake-Spring Lake Watershed District in partnership with the City of Prior Lake.
