Join us for Chicago Book Lovers Night, an exciting evening bringing together readers, local authors, aspiring writers, and literary creatives in a relaxed, social setting. This is not your typical author panel or formal conference — it’s an interactive literary social designed to spark conversations and new connections.
Meet featured authors, browse a diverse selection of books, and hear short, captivating behind-the-book stories. Discover your next great read and connect with fellow book lovers who share your passion for literature!

What to Expect

- Connect directly with a curated group of Chicago-area and independent authors.
- Ask questions, learn about their work, and discover books you might not find through your usual reading list.
- You will meet 8–10 local authors across multiple genres including Romance, Mystery, Sci-Fi, and Non-fiction, offering a diverse mix of voices and storytelling styles from the Chicago literary community.
- Author Spotlight Stories Selected authors will have a few minutes to introduce themselves and share the story behind a book, character, idea, or creative journey. Short, personal, and conversational — no lengthy presentations.
- Mini Book Fair Browse a small selection of books from participating authors and discover something new to add to your reading list. Attendees may purchase books directly from participating authors where available.
- Book Lovers Social Meet readers from across Chicago through relaxed conversations and optional book-themed conversation prompts. Perfect for anyone coming alone.
