Join Creative Malden and the City of Malden for a special walking tour celebrating the unveiling of six new major works of art in the heart of Malden Center.

This guided tour will introduce you to six new works that are helping transform Malden Center into a vibrant outdoor art district. Along the way, we’ll explore the stories, inspiration, and creative vision behind the artwork—and you’ll have the opportunity to meet the artists and hear them talk about their work.

The six new pieces are part of Malden Center’s growing collection of public art, joining the many murals and colorful painted switchboxes already throughout the area.

After the Tour: Join Us for a Celebration!

The tour will conclude with a special celebration at a local Malden restaurant, where we’ll gather to toast the artists and celebrate this exciting addition to Malden’s public-art landscape.

About the Tour

This project is a collaboration between Creative Malden and the City of Malden, with the goal of bringing art into the community and creating opportunities for residents and visitors to experience, learn about, and celebrate public art together.

Malden Center is becoming more than a place to shop, dine, and gather—it is becoming a destination for public art. These six new works are another important step in that transformation.
