Cut the Mic | An Intimate Queer Love Poetry + Music Series @ baby battista
Cut the Mic is an intimate queer love music + poetry series celebrating LGBTQ+ artists, community, creativity, and connection in LA.
Cut the Mic is a queer live music + poetry series in Los Angeles built around one simple idea: creating a safe space where queer artists and community are the loudest people in the room.
Each show brings together a curated lineup of queer musicians and poets for an intimate night of live art, community, and connection. It’s less about standing quietly in a crowd and more about creating a safe space where you can show up alone, meet someone new, discover a new artist you love, laugh, cry, scream a little, and leaving feeling more connected than when you arrived.
Cut the Mic is about making room for the full range of queer voices and experiences- messy, joyful, vulnerable, loud, soft, funny, angry, and everything in between.
Come for the music + poetry, but stay and connect for our people.
