DC Writers' Salon: Agent & Author Q&A with Diana Rojas

If you're a writer navigating the often arduous experience of publishing, this event is for you. The DC Writer's Salon A&A Q&A (Agent & Author Question & Answer) series provides writers with opportunities to hear from experienced folks on different facets of the publishing world.

This fall, we're featuring Diana Rojas, a member of the Board of Directors of the PEN/Faulkner Foundation and a 2026 participant in the Macondo Writer’s Workshop.

Diana Rojas is the author of the novel, They Hold Grudges (Arte Público Press), the novella collection Litany of Saints: A Triptych (Arte Público Press, 2024), and the forthcoming children’s book, Clara’s Big Green Coat (Piñata Books, 2027). Her essays are featured in various journals, including The Washington Independent Review of Books, Barrelhouse, Latin@Lit, and Folio. Diana lives in Washington, DC.

Based in Dupont, the DC Writers' Salon is a studio and community for writers. The Salon helps us make space and time for what we love to do: write. But more than that, it invites us to engage with the otherwise solo, and sometimes grueling, process of writing in a way that's more connected and accountable. Learn more at DCWritersSalon.com.
