Mahj for a Cause: Open Play Benefiting METAvivor

Join Keep Mahjing On for a special morning of American Mahjong, community and purpose as we raise money for METAvivor in support of those living with metastatic breast cancer.

This is an Open Play event, not a lesson or Guided Open Play. Attendees should already know how to play American Mahjong and be able to play independently according to National Mah Jongg League rules.

Come dressed in pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and get ready to play for a cause! We’ll be keeping score throughout the event, with a special prize awarded to the player who finishes with the highest overall score.

Keep Mahjing On will provide complete Mahjong setups, including our luxury tiles, mats and racks. Players should bring their current NMJL card.

Please register with your group of four or five players. Groups of five will rotate throughout the night, as four players will play at a time.

A portion of the event proceeds will be donated to METAvivor to support metastatic breast cancer research.

Please note: This event is intended for players who already know how to play American Mahjong. Instruction and guided assistance will not be provided. Food and beverages (outside of water) are not permitted inside the studio at The Bar Method Marloro.
