Tween Night craft workshop in Montgomery County, Md.

Don’t tell everyone else who visits our workshop, but tweens are some of our favorite people to craft with. So we decided to set aside a night just for them — to craft, make new friends (or hang with old ones) and of course … eat.

Kids ages 9 to 14 are invited for an evening of crafts, pizza and just hanging out. Bring a pal, or come alone and meet other kids who love to craft. We’ll supply pizza, snacks and a soundtrack, plus cool projects using lots of fun supplies and techniques. We’ll set up crafting stations like we do for our monthly Open Studio events so kids can explore at their own pace.

Crafters are welcome to bring their own items to customize at our bedazzling station. Suggestions: Shoes (with a parent’s permission, of course!), pencil pouch, small cosmetic/toiletry items like lip balm or lotion, hair clips, books. We will also provide small items for bedazzling.

This IS a drop-off event; we’ll ask for adult contact info at registration.
