Rethinking LIMS: Building the Next Generation of Lab Software
An In-Person Roundtable & Networking Event: Connect, Learn, and Collaborate with Industry Experts
Laboratories are increasingly building, integrating, and adapting their own software infrastructure; what should that infrastructure look like, and how is the emergence of AI changing the equation?
Join LRIG New England for an evening focused on the evolving world of laboratory software, informatics, and infrastructure. We’ll explore approaches to custom LIMS development, data modeling, modern application design, rapid prototyping, and AI-enabled workflows.
Through technical talks, lessons from hackathons, and a panel discussion on “Lab Software in the Agentic Era,” speakers will share practical perspectives on building software that can support increasingly complex laboratory workflows, whether AI is part of the solution or not.
This event is designed for lab-informatics professionals, scientists, engineers, software developers, and technology leaders interested in the future of laboratory systems and infrastructure. Attendees will also have opportunities to connect with peers and organizations working across the lab software ecosystem during dedicated networking and social hours.
